About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You are responsible for the stable operation of complex cloud, virtualization, and container platforms.
You provide professional and disciplinary leadership to your Operations team and support the development of your employees.
You ensure a high level of service quality and oversee 3rd-level support, incident management, and escalation management.
You optimize operational processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive automation initiatives.
You work closely with development teams and are responsible for transitioning new platform capabilities into production operations.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of leadership experience in Cloud Operations, IT infrastructure, or comparable technical fields.
Extensive experience operating complex cloud platforms and cloud infrastructures.
Good understanding of IaaS, Kubernetes, Linux, networking, storage, and virtualization.
Experience operating business-critical IT environments, as well as managing incidents and escalations.
Structured approach to work, hands-on mentality, and strong leadership skills.
Knowledge of OpenStack is an advantage but not a prerequisite.
