About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsibility for the continued development of Kubernetes- and OpenStack-based cloud platforms
Developing technical roadmaps and defining development priorities
Supporting architecture decisions
Providing technical and disciplinary leadership for the team
Promoting employees’ professional development
Working closely with Product Management and other stakeholders
Translating requirements into technical solutions
Ensuring the quality of platform solutions
Ensuring the structured handover of platform solutions to the Operations team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of leadership experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Development, or comparable technical fields
Extensive experience with cloud platforms, their architecture, and their continued development
Good understanding of Kubernetes, container technologies, and modern cloud infrastructures
Knowledge of Linux, networking, storage, virtualization, and distributed systems
Strategic thinking, a hands-on approach, and strong leadership skills
Knowledge of OpenStack is an advantage but not required
