About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Take responsibility for central control systems projects from conception through technical implementation to commissioning
- Organize, manage, and monitor budgets
- Coordinate internal and external project stakeholders
- Administer and further develop highly available process control system and control room environments at the system, network, and application levels
- Ensure the stable, high-performance, and secure operation of central control systems
- Implement IT/OT security requirements
- Support activities related to the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and the intrusion detection system
- Develop innovative solutions for complex control center requirements as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Analyze, assess, and structure operational, process, and system data
- Derive suitable technical and organizational measures
- Identify and implement optimization potential within the existing system landscape
- Create and maintain technical documentation, operating concepts, and procedural instructions
- Participate in the on-call service
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed degree in a technical field such as computer science, electrical engineering, information and communications technology, or a comparable qualification
- Ideally, initial professional experience in a comparable technical role
- Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to quickly understand and work with complex technical systems and software solutions
- Initial knowledge of process control systems, network technology, virtualization, and/or information security is desirable
- Very good command of German
- Good command of English, particularly for technical documentation and communication with manufacturers and service providers
- Analytical mindset, strong solution-oriented approach, and excellent communication skills
- Independent, structured, and reliable way of working
- High degree of initiative
- Strong process understanding, team spirit, and sense of responsibility
- Willingness to participate in the on-call service
