About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain code bases in GitLab
Design ETL interfaces
Develop database interfaces
Conduct system testing and debugging
Develop Java-based user interfaces
Perform scenario analysis
Provide financial risk analysis for technical projects
Support global financial risk reporting
Provide financial risk technology analysis
Collaborate with internal and global stakeholders to keep technical applications up to date
Manage varied priorities and assignments to ensure timely and seamless delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need

University (Degree) Preferred
3+ years of work experience required; 5+ years preferred
5+ years of experience required
Experience in Risk Data Analytics and financial risk domains
Knowledge of Java, React, and other libraries or frameworks
Experience designing web services
Experience developing and maintaining code in GitLab
Experience designing, developing, and debugging system architecture and ETL interfaces
Experience integrating data into data warehouses
Experience with database and Python development
Experience with Java UI development
Excellent Power BI or Tableau skills
In-depth risk and financial markets knowledge
Oracle, Python, and PL/SQL skills
Scheduling experience with Autosys or Control-M
Experience within or supporting Technology and/or Risk Operations
Familiarity with financial products and risk analytics
Preferred: risk technology experience within leading Financial Services organizations
Preferred: knowledge of MSCI Risk Metrics
Ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain attention to detail
Ability to complete tasks independently with minimum supervision and use independent judgment
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional groups and support senior management
