About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to the growth of TIAA Trust, N.A.'s trust administration business
- Interact directly with Wealth Management Advisors, Portfolio Managers, Trust Administrators, and Financial Consultants
- Identify, manage, and move through acceptance TIAA clients who could benefit from TIAA Trust, N.A. serving as trustee or co-trustee
- Train internal partners on positioning TIAA Trust as trustee
- Review internal partners' books of business to identify prospects
- Conduct due diligence and prospect and internal partner interactions to gather required documents and move opportunities through acceptance
- Work directly with prospects' legal and tax advisors
- Maintain accurate sales and due diligence records
- Adhere to internal processes and procedures
- Serve as a key engagement point and subject matter expert for internal partners
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in Institutional Trust sales or business development required
- Experience prospecting and managing complex client opportunities
- Experience selling to nonprofit, healthcare, or higher education organizations preferred
- Experience presenting to investment committees or boards preferred
- Trust administration or institutional trust knowledge preferred
- Strong consultative selling and relationship management skills preferred
- Sedentary work physical requirement
