About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support transactions and maintenance for the firm’s portfolio of real estate physical assets
- Partner with senior members of the Real Estate investment team on prospective and current commercial real estate investment opportunities
- Research real estate areas including background research, corporate relationships, and property valuation and recommendations
- Prepare financial analysis and modeling at the real estate portfolio level to review appraisals and valuations
- Conduct ROI analysis for potential acquisitions and property expansions
- Communicate with investors regarding real estate portfolio performance
- Assist with investment and operational due diligence on private capital for inclusion on the firm’s platform
- Monitor investment opportunities and communicate information to the investment team
- Communicate with construction management and commercial property development regarding property concerns
- Maintain a 12-month pipeline of investment ideas that are in or coming to market
Requirements
What you’ll need- No experience required
- 1+ years of transferable experience in the investment management industry preferred
- Bachelor’s degree; concentration in Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Business, or similar preferred
- Strong knowledge of Fair Value GAAP Accounting, particularly as it applies to private fund investment performance
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Data aggregation and relational database analytics skills
- Knowledge of Excel pivot tables
- Data visualization software knowledge, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Ability to manipulate data and construct data pipelines in Python/R
- Experience using Kiro or other agentic AI development tools preferred
- Superior customer service and interpersonal skills
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in third-party financial industry databases and Microsoft Office
- Ability to cooperate in a team environment
- Pursuit or completion of CIPM, CAIA, and CFA designations encouraged
- Prior experience in Private Equity Real Estate preferred
- Knowledge of NCREIF Data and Query Tool
- Working knowledge of Yardi GL Accounting systems
- Experience building models in a production environment with Anaplan
- Must be able to perform sedentary work
