About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and maintain the Investment Book of Record (IBOR)
  • Oversee portfolio accounting, performance calculation, and investment reporting functions
  • Own and manage the Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX) portfolio management software solution, including policies, controls, compliance, audit requirements, processes, integrations, data maintenance, and governance
  • Manage system data maintenance and supporting processes
  • Deliver standard and ad-hoc reports, vendor data feeds and integrations, and annual GIPS Composite Reports
  • Design and implement strategies, processes, and tools for portfolio operations and report creation
  • Lead initiatives addressing complex cross-departmental business issues
  • Collaborate with Investments, Trading, IT, Data Governance, relationship management, and reporting teams
  • Train internal staff and direct reports on portfolio accounting, performance calculation, and investment reporting
  • Manage migration of the portfolio management software to the cloud and onboarding of back-office resources
  • Document and establish business processes and controls for ongoing integration
  • Manage vendor relationships for cloud hosting, application upgrades, custom report development, and portfolio operations and reporting support
  • Monitor vendor performance and conduct formal reviews to ensure delivery of business requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • 5+ years of investment performance experience
  • Experience with portfolio accounting, performance calculation, and investment reporting
  • Experience with Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX)
  • Experience managing portfolio system data, including portfolios, securities, pricing, reconciliations, holdings, performance, composites, benchmarks, and indices
  • Experience with standard and ad-hoc reports, vendor data feeds and integrations, and GIPS Composite Reports
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and software solutions
  • Preferred: 7+ years of investment performance experience and related certifications
  • Ability to work in a collaborative in-office environment
  • Physical requirement: Sedentary Work
