About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead implementation of tools and processes to maintain firm-wide data standards
- Strengthen data governance capabilities across the complete data lifecycle
- Ensure data controls support business objectives
- Coordinate and integrate master data to maintain efficient processes and consistent data flows
- Oversee development of reports and dashboards for business metrics, trends, and analytical needs
- Optimize dashboard reporting for operations and management
- Monitor data quality metrics and execute data quality audits
- Advise on process improvements related to master data processes
- Evaluate master data management metrics and recommend improvements to data integrity, quality, and availability
- Review and contribute to management reports quantifying the business impact of data quality issues
- Coach, review, and delegate work to lower-level team members
- Influence implementation of new processes and methodologies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree Required
- 5+ years of work experience required; 7+ years preferred
- Minimum 5+ years designing or redesigning multi-stakeholder governance frameworks within a regulated industry
- Experience taking a governance framework from design through pilot to operational SOP
- Experience facilitating structured working sessions with 4 or more distinct control/compliance functions
- Experience resolving conflicting requirements across functions
- Track record of piloting process or framework changes and reporting quantified before/after metrics
- Working knowledge of AI/ML lifecycle and model risk terminology, including tiering, materiality thresholds, and validation
- Ability to describe AI/ML progression from development to deployment conceptually
- Ability to produce auditable SOPs, decision-rights charts, escalation paths, and functional requirements documents
- Formal certification or direct work experience in Model Risk Management preferred
- Experience writing functional requirements implemented in workflow automation or GRC tools preferred
- Experience partnering with technical implementation teams to translate SOPs into system logic or workflow automation preferred
