About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support senior team members in executing projects and strategic initiatives through business analysis, testing, and implementation
- Collaborate with Trading, Technology, and Operations on requirements gathering, test case development, UAT, and defect tracking
- Execute transformation tasks involving automation and AI technologies, including data validation, process mapping, and testing
- Help identify operational risks during testing and implementation
- Contribute to standard operating procedures and remediation plans
- Identify process improvement opportunities within Core Public Operations
- Provide operational expertise across equity, fixed income, FX, and derivatives
- Triage and document operational issues and production support escalations
- Support design, testing, and implementation of scalable operational solutions
- Assist with operational due diligence for new markets and investment instruments
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 or more years of experience working in asset management, specifically in investment/trading operations
- 2 or more years of experience supporting FX and/or OTC derivatives
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple project workstreams and testing efforts simultaneously
- Experience contributing to enterprise transformational projects, including business analysis and testing
- University (Degree) Preferred
- Experience of global equity and fixed income trading
- Understanding of the derivatives trade lifecycle and support across bilateral, listed, and cleared derivatives trading workflows
- Understanding of Investment Management products (Pension funds, Mutual funds, Separate accounts)
- Experience with Bloomberg AIM or Charles River Investment Management System
- Experience working with outsourced service providers
- Managing detailed testing plans and tracking issues to resolution
- Ability to work in a collaborative in-office environment
