About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support associate development to improve speed to productivity
  • Lead associates in consistently delivering an end-to-end client engagement process using financial planning-based advice, deep discovery, and solution implementation
  • Design and develop growth plans with management to improve productivity and effectiveness
  • Identify needs, understand priorities, and create improvement plans
  • Provide collaborative training to associates
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative needs analyses to prioritize learning efforts
  • Measure key metrics and evaluate development program success
  • Develop practice management, solutions, and business-building techniques
  • Conduct development sessions on value propositions, client discovery, presentation skills, solution delivery, objection resolution, and asking for introductions
  • Help associates achieve activity goals and manage pipelines
  • Assist with pre-meeting planning and post-meeting debriefs
  • Identify opportunities for behavior change and performance improvement
  • Develop and execute programs and routines for practice analysis, target setting, business development, client feedback, client experience, introductions, and consultative selling
  • Share stories, methods, best practices, and wins with associates and leaders
  • Execute blended learning methods to maximize retention and scalability

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of work experience required; 7+ years preferred
  • University degree preferred
  • FINRA registrations: Series 7, Series 63, Series 65, and Series 66
  • Experience in business development, client relationship management, consultative communication, practice management strategy, quantitative analysis, sales, retirement planning selling, wealth management, and TIAA products/services
  • Ability to support associate development and improve speed to productivity
  • Knowledge of financial planning-based advice, deep discovery, solution implementation, client engagement, and consultative selling practices
  • Ability to use quantitative and qualitative needs analysis techniques
  • Ability to measure key metrics and assess development program impact
  • Sedentary work capability
