About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Price and value global securities daily in recordkeeping systems, including trading, performance, and compliance systems
- Validate and verify daily pricing using secondary vendors and market data sources
- Analyze and research daily U.S. and international market movements and related price fluctuations
- Monitor world markets and communicate significant market and security events to advisory teams and senior management
- Monitor foreign exchange rate receipt in the data warehouse and review day-over-day variations
- Assist with preparing and gathering monthly metrics
- Prepare and research price breaks against custodians and fund accounting
- Participate in projects, including testing and documenting test results
- Liaise with third-party vendors, external clients, and custodians
- Assist with UAT testing for ongoing and upcoming projects
- Ensure team BAU activities are completed on time
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree preferred, not required
- No experience required in the Educational Requirements section
- Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience required
- Strong written and communication skills
- Ability to price and value domestic and international equities, fixed income, derivatives, futures/options, bank loans, swaptions, and fair value pricing
- Experience utilizing secondary vendors and market data sources such as Bloomberg and Reuters
- Ability to analyze and research daily U.S. and international market movements
- Ability to monitor world markets and foreign exchange rates
- Ability to research price breaks against custodians and fund accounting
- Project testing and documentation experience
- User acceptance testing (UAT) experience
- Vendor, external client, and custodian liaison experience
- Business analysis, business process improvement, business process understanding, collaboration, consultative communication, negotiation, organizational savviness, project management, and vendor/partner management skills
