About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the primary U.S. time-zone point of contact for the Security Master/GoldenSource platform
Represent the Reference Data product across NTO and business stakeholder forums
Act as escalation point and decision-maker for time-sensitive data issues and requirements clarifications
Translate business data needs into actionable Security Master platform requirements
Build relationships with data consumers across trading, portfolio management, risk, and operations
Own and maintain the Security Master product roadmap
Drive feature, enhancement, and data onboarding delivery with India-based product and engineering teams
Participate in PI Planning and represent U.S. stakeholder priorities
Collaborate with India-based Product Managers for Private Assets and Public Assets
Elicit, clarify, and document functional and technical requirements
Translate capital markets and security data concepts into user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items
Represent the platform in Steering Committee and program governance forums
Prepare status updates on delivery, risks, dependencies, and roadmap progress for senior leadership
Maintain working knowledge of GoldenSource architecture, data model, and workflows
Provide functional guidance on data quality, data governance, and reference data best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in financial services, with direct exposure to reference data, security master, or enterprise data management functions
5+ years of hands-on experience with GoldenSource, Bloomberg AIM, Markit EDM, or a comparable MDM platform
5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager within an Agile/SAFe delivery framework, including hands-on PI Planning and backlog grooming
5+ years of experience working in a globally distributed delivery model, including direct collaboration with offshore India-based teams
Experience with security identifiers (CUSIP, ISIN, SEDOL) across at least two asset classes
Experience specifically configuring or administering the GoldenSource platform preferred
Familiarity with private assets data preferred
Experience in asset management or insurance-affiliated investment management firms preferred
Knowledge of upstream/downstream data flows to portfolio accounting, trading, and risk systems preferred
University degree preferred
