About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead internal integrated client teams to grow, retain, and deepen client and consultant relationships
- Establish strategic approaches to grow the book of business and execute profitable results
- Act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to plan sponsors and consultants
- Position lifetime income value and sell TIAA products and solutions
- Identify current and future client needs and plan to address opportunities
- Use analytics, investment, market knowledge, and financials to develop multi-year strategic plans
- Oversee integrated teams executing unified client strategies and account management activities
- Partner with Consultant Relations to strengthen TIAA’s position with consulting firms and consultants
- Create B2B and B2B2C opportunities through enterprise employer solutions and employee engagement
- Review client financials and meet with senior executives about long-term strategies
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of work experience required; 7+ years preferred
- University degree preferred
- Series 6 or 7 and Series 63 FINRA registrations
- Life and Health Insurance License (Resident State) required within 120 days
- Experience with moderately complex books of business, including Partner Market, Healthcare, and Institutional clients
- Knowledge of retirement plan design, lifetime income products, investment, market knowledge, and financials
- Skills in business development, client relationship management, negotiation, retirement planning selling, and financial markets
- Sedentary work capability
