About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate with Cyber Engineering, Operations, Architecture, and Global Infrastructure teams
  • Deploy and operate secure cloud application infrastructure aligned with cybersecurity initiatives and business needs
  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for vulnerability, configuration, and asset data
  • Query and analyze high-volume security datasets, including data from AI-enabled and modern scanning tools
  • Correlate and prioritize vulnerability data to distinguish genuine risk signals from background noise
  • Maintain expertise in vulnerability data across multiple asset classes
  • Evaluate and recommend defense-in-depth compensating controls across the technology stack
  • Provide operations and engineering support for critical security systems and services
  • Lead cloud solution cost-benefit evaluations and assess external cloud platform and infrastructure services
  • Identify IT infrastructure areas with the highest potential return for cloud deployment
  • Facilitate global information technology strategies, initiatives, plans, operations, and procedures
  • Execute vulnerability analysis and exploitation testing of applications, operating systems, and networks
  • Report intrusion or incident paths and methods discovered through testing
  • Design, develop, and implement cyber countermeasures, systems integrations, and information operations tools
  • Resolve and document complex malware and intrusion issues
  • Serve as an internal information security consultant on standards, complex issues, and best practices
  • Conduct testing and analysis of complex software systems to determine functionality and intent
  • Communicate with cybersecurity risk and security operations teams to improve enterprise security posture
  • Coach, review, and delegate work to lower-level IT security professionals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in Information Security or IT Technology
  • 3+ years of Python coding experience
  • Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines that extract, transform, and load vulnerability, configuration, and asset data at scale across heterogeneous environments
  • Experience applying data science techniques to correlate and prioritize large, noisy vulnerability datasets
  • Hands-on AWS cloud experience
  • Experience querying and analyzing high-volume security datasets to identify systemic exposure trends and emerging risk clusters
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • Security certifications such as CKA, CKS, CISSP, GIAC, AWS, or Azure are preferred
  • Experience maintaining deep domain expertise in vulnerability data across asset classes
  • Experience evaluating and recommending defense-in-depth compensating controls across network, API, ingress, application, OS/kernel, and orchestration/control plane layers
  • University degree is preferred
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to provide strong customer service
