About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop a high-quality wealth management practice
- Manage and deepen relationships with an established book of high-net-worth clients
- Understand clients' goals and deliver tailored financial strategies as a fiduciary
- Serve as the primary financial contact for clients
- Navigate complex financial situations and guide clients through and into retirement
- Grow the practice by expanding existing relationships and engaging TIAA's full wealth management capabilities
- Collaborate with internal specialists to deliver comprehensive recommendations
- Anticipate client needs
- Apply a thoughtful, creative, and entrepreneurial approach to practice growth
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience managing a book of business and building long-lasting relationships with affluent clients
- Deep knowledge of investment solutions and financial planning
- Exceptional people skills and ability to engage clients authentically and build trust
- Solutions-oriented mindset focused on clients' financial lives
- Ability to work with autonomy and accountability
- FINRA Series 7 and Series 63
- Series 65 or 66
- Life and Health Insurance License; all licenses must be obtained within 120 days of start date
- Life and Health Insurance License (Resident State) Multiple Issuers required (preferred)
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level I preferred
