About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage full-cycle technical recruiting, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer support, and candidate closing
Partner with the Senior Staff Recruiter and hiring managers to define requirements, priorities, target companies, and assessment criteria
Recruit across aerospace, defense, engineering, advanced manufacturing, and specialized technical disciplines
Develop talent maps and candidate pipelines across defense contractors, aerospace manufacturers, emerging defense technology companies, and specialized engineering organizations
Identify and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, referrals, professional networks, and direct research
Conduct substantive screening conversations evaluating technical qualifications, ownership, motivations, and alignment
Present candidate summaries covering qualifications, technical strengths, compensation expectations, location, availability, and assessment areas
Coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and maintain communication with candidates and hiring teams
Maintain applicant tracking records and provide visibility into pipeline health, search progress, and hiring challenges
Support offer development, negotiations, and closing
Follow hiring, export-control, and clearance-related procedures with HR, legal, and security teams
Represent Tiberius Aerospace professionally and support a strong candidate experience

Requirements

What you’ll need

3–5 years of technical recruiting experience
Prior experience recruiting within the defense industry, either in-house or through a recruiting firm supporting defense clients
Demonstrated success sourcing and hiring engineers for specialized, difficult-to-fill positions
Working knowledge of aerospace and defense engineering disciplines
Ability to discuss technical requirements credibly with candidates and hiring managers
Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, advanced Boolean search, talent mapping, and passive candidate engagement
Experience managing multiple searches with accurate documentation and consistent follow-through
Familiarity with recruiting for security-clearance requirements and export-controlled work
Strong judgment evaluating candidate qualifications
Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-management skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment
U.S. citizenship
Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance
