About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Control the financial operations of the company
Analyze financial data, build financial models, and provide recommendations to improve business performance
Monitor product and customer profitability
Create management reports and financial forecasts
Manage the budgeting process and control budget realization
Monitor and anticipate budget overruns
Participate in monthly reporting meetings with C-level stakeholders
Present analysis conclusions and prepare meeting notes
Partner with business stakeholders on cost variances and financial implications
Manage app spend, particularly LLM-related costs
Control accounting and bookkeeping functions
Coordinate document acceptance and payments with the accounting team
Assist teams with financial matters
Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reports
Improve financial policies and procedures
Collaborate with the other Financial Controller to ensure smooth ownership of the controlling function
Collaborate with the Finance & Operations team and report to the Head of Finance

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 2/3 years of experience in a similar role
Strong experience in management reporting and financial model preparation
Advanced analytical skills
Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel, Power Query, and VBA
Strong financial expertise and interest in understanding the business behind the numbers
Ability to investigate financial results, identify key drivers and variances, and draw clear conclusions
Ability to work with business stakeholders and explain financial topics clearly and practically
Proactive, methodical, and hands-on approach
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and changing priorities
Fluent English for day-to-day business and finance communication
Experience in SaaS or Big 4 is a bonus
Solid understanding of financial regulations and compliance is a bonus
