About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for system enhancements and upgrades
  • Define sub-domain scope and entity lists, including business definition, grain, and priority
  • Map business processes to source systems and establish the system of record per entity
  • Scan Databricks / Snowflake catalogues with data engineering leads and produce entity-to-source-to-dataset mappings with coverage verdicts
  • Lead SME interviews to elicit use cases, capabilities, and attribute-level requirements
  • Build Discovery readouts and secure client sign-off
  • Own BRD/FRD documentation and canonical attribute registers with source arbitration and traceability from use case to attribute
  • Act as functional authority for data engineers on business rules, grain, hierarchies, and code sets
  • Review STTMs against signed requirements and assess change requests for scope impact
  • Define UAT scope and business scenarios traced to requirements
  • Run UAT with business SMEs, triage defects, drive issues to closure with evidence, and secure UAT sign-off
  • Document residual open items and handover material

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of business analysis / functional consulting experience, with 3+ years on data platform or analytics programmes
  • Full-lifecycle ownership from discovery through UAT sign-off
  • Strong supply chain or equivalent enterprise domain grounding
  • SAP (ECC/BW/HANA) or comparable ERP data structure knowledge
  • Understanding of master, transaction, and state data
  • SQL and data catalogue literacy, including Databricks / Snowflake
  • Ability to validate coverage and test results independently
  • Understanding of Medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) sufficient to make sourcing recommendations
  • Experience with BRD/FRD, STTM, traceability matrices, and UAT packs
  • Comfortable facilitating workshops and presenting to client director/VP level
  • Nice to have: Healthcare distribution/pharma supply chain experience
  • Nice to have: WMS/TMS/planning exposure, including Kinaxis, Manhattan, or Infios
  • Nice to have: SAFe/PI cadence experience
  • Nice to have: Data governance and RBAC awareness
