About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support project teams with data collection, analysis, and documentation for water, wastewater, and stormwater projects
- Perform engineering calculations to support projects
- Assist staff with study, design, and construction projects and field assignments
- Participate in Tighe & Bond’s annual Intern Day activities
- Help plan, design, and administer construction of conveyance systems, treatment plants, and pump stations
- Support capital improvement planning, hydraulic modeling, and asset management programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s program pursuing a degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering
- Previous and relevant internship experience
- Intellectual curiosity and a desire to solve engineering problems
- Flexibility, a positive attitude, and open-mindedness
- Hands-on experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or SolidWorks
- Hands-on experience with office software like Microsoft Excel, Word or PowerPoint
- At least 2 years of completed coursework in a college level academic program
- Previous internship experience in engineering, design, or consulting
