Key responsibilities & impact

Lead financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and cost-optimization opportunities
Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies
Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Conduct complex cost-benefit analyses and provide actionable recommendations
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
Prepare and present detailed financial reports for application owners and internal teams
Develop and maintain advanced financial models and dashboards
Lead financial audits and provide necessary documentation
Mentor and guide internal teams in FinOps education and transparency
Evaluate and improve FinOps policies and standards guidelines
Develop controls to drive financial control and cost optimization

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree preferred or related cloud finance accounting and controls
5+ years of experience in financial analysis, cloud operations, or a similar role
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High attention to detail and accuracy
Experience with cloud financial management and FinOps principles preferred
Professional certifications preferred
