Key responsibilities & impact

Manage customer receipts by confirming payments and allocating amounts to the corresponding contracts and shipments;
Keep accounts receivable balances up to date;
Prepare and request payments to mills in accordance with contractual terms and established deadlines;
Monitor shipment execution and send shipping schedules to customers;
Review and approve bills of lading (BL) drafts;
Confirm shipments with ocean carriers and freight forwarders;
Monitor the presentation of original documents within the specified deadlines;
Issue and record invoices for purchase and sale contracts;
Ensure consistency of information across contracts, shipments, invoicing, and documentation;
Request and verify cargo insurance certificates;
Request and track telex releases, Sea Waybills, and bills of lading printed at destination;
Monitor the document release of cargo at destination, ensuring compliance with deadlines;
Provide operational and documentary support to the Dubai team;
Serve as a point of contact for operational requests and follow-ups from the international team.

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade, Business Administration, Logistics, International Relations, or a related field;
Knowledge of export processes and documentation;
Knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and international payment methods;
Experience with export operations and shipment tracking;
Advanced English proficiency;
Advanced Excel skills;
Spanish proficiency and knowledge of ITAS or a similar system are considered advantages.
