About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage and oversee cotton export operations.
Control the key milestones of each operation: contracting, shipment scheduling, documentation, invoicing, shipment, settlement, and closing.
Liaise with the Trade/Commercial, Execution, Logistics, Finance, Tax, Controlling, Legal, and IT teams.
Track discrepancies between contracts, systems, commercial documents, shipments, and invoicing.
Develop and maintain controls to monitor the complete export cycle.
Monitor critical deadlines, outstanding items, documents, shipments, invoicing, and contract settlement.
Create mechanisms for checking, validating, and reconciling systems, contracts, and documents.
Identify operational risks, inconsistencies, and potential losses, and propose corrective and preventive actions.
Develop performance indicators and dashboards to monitor operational performance.
Ensure information traceability and the proper organization of operational documents and supporting evidence.
Map back-office processes and identify opportunities for automation, digitization, and simplification.
Develop and implement solutions using Power Automate, Power BI, advanced Excel, or available corporate tools.
Automate controls, reconciliations, alerts, reports, and repetitive activities.
Work with IT and business teams on the specification, testing, and implementation of system improvements.
Document processes, business rules, and implemented solutions.
Monitor automation performance and propose continuous improvements.
Ensure the quality, consistency, and integrity of data related to export operations.
Structure databases and operational information to generate indicators and analyses.
Develop management reports to support decision-making.
Identify opportunities to use data, BI tools, and AI to increase productivity and control.
Support the creation of a single, reliable information base for operations.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Advanced English, particularly for verbal and written communication and commercial documentation.
Experience and/or knowledge of execution, data, controls, and technology for foreign trade operations.
Ability to view processes end to end and transform manual back-office activities into automated, secure, and scalable processes.
Knowledge of Power Automate, Power BI, advanced Excel, or available corporate tools.
Knowledge of process automation, digitization, and simplification.
Knowledge of data management, quality, consistency, and integrity.
