About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the freight strategy and management of agricultural export shipments
- Serve as a key support point for operations teams
- Support freight quotations and negotiations
- Manage shipments with ocean carriers and freight forwarders, from booking request through shipment execution
- Monitor shipments and sales transactions using ITAS
- Execute the booking strategy in coordination with logistics teams
- Prepare empty-container forecasts for suppliers
- Follow up on containers and deadlines with the logistics team
- Monitor cargo readiness against booking deadlines
- Provide support with CODs, lot splits, deadline extensions, and operational challenges
- Enter rollovers into ITAS
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Foreign Trade, Logistics, International Relations, or a related field
- Experience with ocean carriers and/or freight forwarders, in operations and/or commercial roles
- Experience in export operations and booking management
- Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written)
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Knowledge of AI tools and process automation is a plus
