About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Handle foreclosures, including complex foreclosure litigation cases
  • Provide guidance to other foreclosure attorneys when necessary
  • Draft and review legal documents for second-level review by the Supervising Attorney
  • Organize case files and track legal deadlines
  • Coordinate with paralegals and legal assistants on case logistics
  • Attend mediations, court appearances, and sheriff’s sales
  • Assist with preparation in advance of appearances
  • Collaborate with members of the state team
  • Actively participate in weekly state meetings
  • Engage in a weekly one-on-one meeting with the Supervising Attorney

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • J.D.
  • Licensed in Florida and in good standing in all jurisdictions
  • Ability to work with others in a congenial and team-oriented manner
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task and adapt to continual change
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Litigation experience
  • Ability to handle complex foreclosure litigation cases
