About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop functional testing scenarios and detailed functional test cases
- Build, lead, and deliver test plans, estimates, strategy, and hands-on testing in Salesforce and integrated systems
- Manage project deadlines, time, and schedule in a fast-paced federal environment
- Review and generate complex test plans
- Generate test case data, build procedures, and create testing scripts based on functional specifications
- Execute and coordinate tests
- Log, validate, debug, and document defects
- Maintain DSTRs
- Define level of effort for building test cases
- Assist test lead/manager with functional testing approaches, tools, automation, and documentation
- Interact with federal and contractor functional leads to clarify requirements and scenarios
- Assist federal and contractor resources with User Acceptance Testing
- Respond to developers' questions regarding test results, bugs, and defects
- Communicate frequently with customers and team members, facilitate discussions, and exercise professional judgment
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10 years of IT industry experience (required)
- Hands-on experience with testing and overseeing the testing of Salesforce-based systems (required)
- Experience with Agile methodology
- Ability to read and understand functional and technical architecture design documents and analyze test requirements
- Strong coordination, communication, reporting, and analytical skills
- Experience testing Java, .Net, Web, SOA, and ETL-based applications
- Some level of Java development experience
- Ability to prepare test data for various test cases/scenarios
- Exposure to Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile SDLC models
- Strong skills in SQL, Oracle, and MS-Access
- Intermediate understanding and experience with Unix and Windows
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's Degree in related field of study
- Ability to pass a Tier 2/Moderate Background Investigation
