About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Facilitate sprint planning, daily scrum, backlog refinement, sprint review, and retrospective in two-week sprints
Keep sprint backlogs, impediments, risks, and Agile metrics current in VA Jira
Coach the team and the VA Product Owner on SAFe 6.0 practice
Feed team objectives, capacity, and dependencies into PI Planning
Escalate risks and blockers to the Release Train Engineer and program leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years as Scrum Master or Agile coach
Experience on a SAFe Agile Release Train
Jira administration of sprint boards and metrics
Bachelor's degree
SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) required
Must be able to obtain a Tier 2 / Moderate Risk Public Trust
Must be able to obtain a VA PIV credential
VA or federal health program experience
SAFe 6.0 practice
Coaching product owners on backlog refinement
SAFe Advanced Scrum Master is a plus
