About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Write test plans, cases, and scripts from user stories and acceptance criteria
Build and maintain automated test suites using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and Postman in CI/CD
Perform functional, integration, regression, and Section 508 testing
Support user acceptance testing (UAT)
Maintain the requirements traceability matrix
Log defects in VA tools
Report test results and coverage for release readiness

Requirements

What you’ll need

Mid level: 5+ years in software testing, including 3+ years of automation
Journeyman level: 2+ years in software testing
Experience creating test plans, cases, and scripts from user stories
Experience with defect management
Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Postman in CI/CD
Experience maintaining a requirements traceability matrix in Jira Xray or VA Quality Manager
Experience with Section 508 testing and UAT support
Bachelor's degree
Must be able to obtain a Tier 2 / Moderate Risk Public Trust
Must be able to obtain a VA PIV credential
ISTQB Agile Tester and Section 508 Trusted Tester preferred
