About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own IT strategy, roadmap and budget, working with the CTO
  • Lead, coach and grow a team of 2 IT engineers across two regions
  • Own the full IT stack: SSO/IdP, MDM for Windows, Mac and Linux, EDR and RMM
  • Own network and Wi-Fi infrastructure, including Palo Alto and Aruba
  • Manage SaaS governance across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Atlassian and other tools
  • Own the employee IT lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, access and device management
  • Lead IT initiatives across Finance, Legal, HR, Security and Engineering
  • Set IT policies, security controls and documentation standards
  • Build and maintain IT infrastructure aligned with ISO 27001 requirements and support audits
  • Oversee helpdesk operations for internal teams and external collaborators

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years in IT, with at least 3 years leading an IT team or function
  • Proven experience owning IT strategy, roadmap and budget in a company of 150+ people
  • Must be hands-on: able to configure, troubleshoot and fix systems yourself, not only manage others who do it
  • Able to develop integrations using APIs and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash or similar)
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of identity and access management (SSO/IdP Okta)
  • Experience managing mixed device fleets with MDM across Windows, macOS and Linux
  • Experience with EDR and RMM tools
  • Experience with network and Wi-Fi infrastructure, including VPN and firewalls (Palo Alto, Aruba or similar)
  • Experience running Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and Atlassian in a SaaS-first company
  • Good knowledge of ISO 27001 and how to turn its requirements into real IT controls
  • Clear communicator who can work with non-technical teams and senior leaders
  • Bonus: experience leading teams across regions, supporting external collaborators, scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python), or taking a company through ISO 27001 certification
