About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Help advisers prepare for client reviews
  • Ensure client and plan information is up to date in IO
  • Request, chase and upload plan information from providers
  • Update contributions and withdrawals using provider transaction histories
  • Add missing policy information to IO
  • Validate funds, unit balances, price feeds and plan values
  • Check and update client income expectations
  • Collate plan costs and charges, including commission, fund-based and adviser charges
  • Create and check client valuation reports using standard IO templates
  • Produce OneNote packs, including Client Charter, FE Analytics research, KIDs, data capture forms and client valuation reports
  • Produce comparisons between old and new centralised investment propositions
  • Prepare cases for AST submission and chase providers for missing information
  • Interrogate data and liaise with advisers to ensure accurate valuations and revenue
  • Interact with advisers and client support to deliver excellent customer service
  • Produce client letters
  • Answer incoming calls via the Main Hunt Group
  • Handle telephone and email enquiries from clients and providers
  • Create and maintain effective client files
  • Process new business and submit applications
  • Liaise with and chase product providers
  • Keep up to date with new products, technical and legislative changes
  • Comply with compliance policies
  • Engage in training and development
  • Perform ad hoc tasks while considering TCF and business needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum 12 month’s IFA administration experience, supporting an advisor
  • Previous regulatory or financial industry experience is desirable
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Methodical and organised
  • Computer literate
  • Accurate with good attention to detail
  • Problem solving
  • Knowledge of the advice process
  • True collaborator, takes initiative, curious
  • A desire to learn and develop and step out of comfort zone
  • Good standard of education
  • Maths and English GCSE, grade 5 or above, or equivalent
  • Willingness to embrace Creativity, Commitment and Collaboration
