About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide administrative support to the Group Legal Team, including diary management, meeting scheduling, calendar management, and coordinating communications
  • Prepare, review, and file contracts and legal correspondence
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information
  • Manage legal administrative tools and update the Group Legal Intranet Site
  • Assist with legal training materials, presentations, detailed reports, management information, and associated documentation
  • Assist with invoicing and related activities
  • Maintain case logs and files for legal matters, including litigation
  • Assist with execution of commercial agreements, NDAs, and other contracts according to policies and procedures
  • Perform supervised commercial contract reviews
  • Act as super-user for the vendor management system and liaise with the vendor team
  • Highlight procedures and processes that do not adhere to TCF/RCR principles and suggest improvements
  • Carry out other duties as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong academic results including 2:1 or above at degree level
  • Legal degree and legal practice course preferable but not mandatory
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communications skills, both oral and written
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Organised, effective filing skills, legal documentation management, and time management
  • Self-motivated, initiative, and ability to troubleshoot
  • Strong computer literacy and IT skills
  • High proficiency with MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Planner
  • Adaptable and collaborative with legal team members and internal senior stakeholders
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise complex and competing demands
  • Curiosity and interest in professional development
  • Adhere to all FCA regulations including consumer duty
