Key responsibilities & impact
  • Shape regional growth and identify opportunities to strengthen TKDA’s presence and create value for clients
  • Influence regional strategy, culture, relationships, and operating approach
  • Work across markets, disciplines, and organizational functions to expand leadership impact
  • Mentor emerging leaders and strengthen regional talent
  • Deepen trusted client relationships and connect clients with TKDA’s full range of capabilities
  • Partner with executive, division, and administrative leaders to translate strategic priorities into regional action
  • Help shape and implement annual regional business plans
  • Anticipate regional needs and coordinate leaders and resources to develop solutions
  • Strengthen collaboration across divisions and regions through workshare, talent sharing, staffing alignment, and coordinated delivery
  • Define and advance market-development strategies
  • Provide regional market insights and competitive intelligence
  • Represent TKDA with clients, partners, industry leaders, and professional organizations
  • Serve as a senior client liaison and provide project or technical leadership as appropriate
  • Help project teams manage complex challenges while aligning scope, schedule, budget, and client expectations
  • Champion regional talent needs and help attract, engage, develop, and retain employees
  • Foster a connected, collaborative regional culture

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Significant leadership experience in engineering, architecture, construction, environmental services, or another professional-services environment
  • Record of building trusted relationships with clients, employees, business partners, and industry stakeholders
  • Ability to influence and align people across a collaborative, matrixed organization
  • Strong business judgment and understanding of project-based consulting, client service, and market development
  • Experience translating strategic priorities into practical plans, relationships, and results
  • Commitment to mentoring employees, developing leaders, and building a positive workplace culture
  • Strong communication, facilitation, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
  • Credibility and presence to represent TKDA with clients, industry organizations, and the broader community
  • Registration as a professional engineer or architect in the State of Washington is an added value
  • Ten or more years of successful experience spanning technical service delivery, client relationship management, and regional or general management is an added value
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future visa sponsorship needs or requirements
  • Must complete pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, criminal conviction review, and driving history
