About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work on projects of all sizes and types
- Work independently on smaller projects
- Receive guidance and mentorship from experienced Project Managers and Commissioning Agents on complex projects
- Learn and grow experience from design review to functional testing
- Execute building commissioning and retro-commissioning tasks
- Travel more than 50% as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years progressive experience in MEP design / construction administration, commissioning, building operations, test and balance technician, DDC controls technician, or other related industry experience
- LEED accreditation preferred
- Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Computer hardware/software/network expertise, as appropriate
- Ability to execute building commissioning and retro-commissioning tasks
- Commissioning Certification preferred (ACG CxT or CxA, or equivalent)
- Ability and willingness to travel (more than 50%)
- Knowledge in a majority of the following: Building Automation and controls systems; HVAC systems; Plumbing systems; Fire alarm/life safety systems; Lighting and lighting controls; Emergency power systems; Low voltage systems; Renewable energy systems
