About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Record and maintain cash books and trading transactions
  • Prepare and maintain daily cashflow reconciliation reports and cash position summaries
  • Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies
  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Maintain general ledger accounts and supporting schedules
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
  • Maintain accounting documentation for audit purposes
  • Support external audits, internal audits, and regulatory reporting
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory obligations applicable to CFD and financial services businesses
  • Identify process improvements to strengthen reconciliation controls and operational efficiency
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to address requests and inquiries
  • Collaborate with team members to execute team functions and meet deadlines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Commerce, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of accounting-related experience
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial record-keeping and reconciliations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Mandarin fluency is a plus but not required
  • Experience in AFSL, trading platforms, financial services, or fund management is an advantage
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
