Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and implement scalable MySQL database architectures
  • Provide hands-on expertise in MySQL installation, configuration, upgrades, and migrations
  • Perform database performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting
  • Design and manage HA, replication, backup, and disaster recovery solutions
  • Work with development and infrastructure teams on database design and best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of experience with MySQL Database Administration/Architecture
  • Strong hands-on experience with MySQL, SQL, indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning
  • Experience with MySQL Replication, InnoDB, HA/DR, backup & recovery
  • Experience with database migration and upgrade projects
  • Strong understanding of Linux/Unix environments
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure is a plus
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
