About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the functional aspects of the forecasting engagement from initial assessment through solution implementation
Work with the customer to agree on forecasting requirements, process changes and expected outcomes
Evaluate solution options and provide functional inputs to solution design, including data and integration requirements
Review and validate the forecasting solution against business scenarios
Assess the quality and reliability of forecasting outputs
Conduct gap analysis between expected and actual forecasting results
Recommend improvements based on forecasting results

Requirements

What you’ll need

Around 10–15 years of experience in supply chain forecasting
Hands-on experience understanding and mapping existing forecasting processes
Experience identifying gaps and working with business teams on process improvements and reengineering
Strong experience in business requirements gathering, solution analysis, functional design and implementation
Good understanding of forecasting approaches
Experience with forecasting tools and solutions such as SAP IBP, Oracle, Blue Yonder, o9, or similar platforms
Experience evaluating forecasting solutions, conducting fit-gap analysis and implementing solutions
Exposure to AI/ML-based forecasting
Experience working alongside data science and technical teams
Experience handling large volumes of transactional data
Understanding of data dependencies and enterprise applications
