About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create and maintain integrations within the Workday cloud-based software platform
Develop integrations with third-party vendors and other state agencies
Research, design, deliver, and maintain integration solutions
Analyze, design, develop, test, document, implement, train users on, and support complex enterprise software solutions
Design, develop, and implement Workday solutions focused on HCM, Finance, and Procurement
Configure and customize Workday business processes, workflows, and integrations
Collaborate with officers, directors, managers, and teams to understand integration needs
Stay current with Workday releases and new integration capabilities
Follow data governance policies and best practices
Validate and reconcile data from multiple sources
Document integration requirements, specifications, and processes
Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing
Design, build, test, and deploy Workday integrations using EIB, Workday Studio, web services, and Core Connectors

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
5+ years of experience in Workday integrations development
Strong experience in HCM and Financial Module integration
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Experience developing Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, and Workday Studio
Experience with WSDL, SOAP, REST, WS standards, XML, XSLT, JSON, and Java
Knowledge of integration security, including ISU, PGP Key, and MFA
Experience with data migration, integration development, report building, and calculated fields
Experience developing integrations for Workday HCM and Financials
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration abilities
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Local candidates strongly preferred for the Atlanta hybrid arrangement; 100% remote acceptable
