About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Install, maintain, and repair TOMRA Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) at customer sites
  • Support the installation, commissioning, and roll-out of new machines across the UK
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
  • Carry out preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
  • Build strong relationships with customers and site contacts
  • Travel throughout the region, with occasional overnight stays when required
  • Record service activities, machine status, and updates using digital systems and tools
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing feedback and developing technical knowledge
  • Maintain high safety standards at all times
  • Deliver a professional customer experience while ensuring equipment operates safely and reliably

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A curious and solution-oriented mindset, with strong attention to detail
  • A customer-focused approach, with clear and confident communication skills
  • A foundation in electro-mechanical systems, with an interest in learning how to analyse, test, and repair complex equipment
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider, supportive team
  • Flexibility to travel and manage your own schedule in a field-based role
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Follow established safety procedures, including TOMRA Safe and LOTO standards
  • Flexibility for occasional approved overtime and weekend working
  • From October 2027, availability for a rota-based shift pattern including weekend coverage
