About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Install, maintain, and repair TOMRA Reverse Vending Machines at customer sites
- Support the installation, commissioning, and roll-out of new machines across the UK
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
- Carry out preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
- Build strong relationships with customers and site contacts
- Travel throughout the region, with occasional overnight stays when required
- Record service activities, machine status, and updates using digital systems and tools
- Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing feedback and developing technical knowledge
- Follow TOMRA Safe and LOTO safety standards
- Deliver excellent customer experience while ensuring equipment operates safely and reliably
Requirements
What you’ll need- A curious and solution-oriented mindset, with strong attention to detail
- A customer-focused approach, with clear and confident communication skills
- A foundation in electro-mechanical systems, with an interest in learning how to analyse, test, and repair complex equipment
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider, supportive team
- Flexibility to travel and manage your own schedule in a field-based role
- Full UK driving licence
- Flexibility to work occasional approved overtime and weekends
- Ability to work a rota-based shift pattern including weekend coverage from October 2027
