About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver field service work efficiently to meet cost and time objectives
- Ensure optimal performance of TOMRA Food sorting machines
- Diagnose and resolve equipment issues and conduct necessary repairs
- Collaborate with internal departments to enhance customer support processes
- Install and adjust TOMRA Food equipment
- Train customers on operation and maintenance of systems
- Maintain accurate, detailed field reports for administrative follow-up
- Support customers primarily within the assigned region and occasionally across other parts of France
- Work at customer sites and from home when customer visits are not scheduled
- Travel domestically up to 80% of the time
Requirements
What you’ll need- Technical training to BAC+2 level in Electronics, Electrotechnical, Automation, Industrial Maintenance, or related field
- Fluent in French
- Able to understand spoken and written English (minimum B2), mandatory
- Proven experience in on-site preventive and corrective maintenance supporting industrial customers
- Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, primarily within France, with occasional international travel or flexible working hours
- Good understanding of IT, networking, and PC configuration
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and management
