About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Install and commission sorting equipment at customer sites
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting activities
- Train operators and maintenance personnel
- Support customers with technical expertise
- Represent TOMRA as a trusted partner in the field
- Perform preventive maintenance and service activities
- Provide remote support when needed
- Complete service reports and update technical documentation
- Travel occasionally to support customers elsewhere in France
- Support customers throughout Brittany and neighbouring regions
- Occasionally support colleagues and customers elsewhere in France as business needs require
Requirements
What you’ll need- Technical qualification (BAC+2 or equivalent) in Electrotechnics, Industrial Maintenance, Automation, Electronics, or a related discipline
- Hands-on experience in electrical fault-finding and electromechanical troubleshooting
- Fluent French
- Ability to communicate effectively in English within a technical and professional environment
- Previous experience in Field Service, customer-site maintenance, commissioning, installation, or travelling technical support roles highly preferred
- Proven experience performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities on industrial equipment in customer-facing environments
- Good understanding of IT systems, networking fundamentals, and PC configuration
- Strong customer-service mindset and ability to build trusted relationships with customers and colleagues
- Valid driving licence required
