About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Install and commission sorting equipment at customer sites
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting operations
- Train operators and maintenance teams
- Provide technical expertise and advise customers
- Represent TOMRA to customers and contribute to service quality
- Carry out preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and service activities
- Prepare customer visits from home
- Write service reports and update technical documentation
- Provide remote assistance when required
- Work primarily in Brittany and neighboring regions
- Occasionally support colleagues and customers in other regions of France
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum two-year technical degree (Bac+2 or equivalent) in electrical engineering, industrial maintenance, automation, electronics, or a related field
- Practical experience diagnosing electrical faults and troubleshooting electromechanical systems
- Fluency in French and the ability to communicate effectively in English in a technical and professional environment
- Proven experience in preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of industrial equipment in a customer-focused environment
- Experience in field service, on-site customer maintenance, commissioning, installation, or field technical support is a strong advantage
- Good IT skills, particularly with PC systems, networks, and network configuration
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to build lasting relationships of trust with customers and colleagues
- A valid Category B driving license is essential
