About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze and translate functional and technical requirements into working code
- Implement, develop, and maintain critical applications in PHP/Laravel
- Apply the coding, security, and architecture standards defined by the team
- Ensure system integrity and extensibility
- Participate in code reviews and provide and receive constructive feedback
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests

Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid software development experience
- Strong command of PHP
- Proven experience with Laravel in moderately complex projects
- Experience with Vue.js and Vuetify
- Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming (OOP)
- Practical knowledge of design patterns
- Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Basic query optimization skills
- Understanding of data modeling in transactional systems (MVC)
- Experience with RESTful APIs or asynchronous messaging
- Knowledge of scalable infrastructure managed by cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Proficiency with Git
- Ability to write unit tests
- Preferred: exposure to or experience with automated build and deployment pipelines (CI/CD)
- Preferred: knowledge of or experience with React Native
- Preferred: familiarity with SQS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ
- Preferred: basic knowledge of logging and tracing
- Preferred: experience with Scrum or Kanban
