About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the QA technical reference within the product squad
- Define testing and automation strategies for the product
- Ensure that developed test scenarios are extensible and reusable across projects
- Make software engineering decisions autonomously, taking technical and business factors into account
- Collaborate with teams across different departments to promote best practices
- Contribute to the evolution of the QA Chapter’s internal tools and frameworks
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid experience with Python and its main libraries
- In-depth knowledge of unit, integration, end-to-end, and BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) testing
- Proficiency in Git and version control workflows
- Experience with programming best practices and Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of software architecture
- Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment pipelines
- Ability to make technical decisions autonomously
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Preferred: experience with BDD and frameworks such as Behave or Cucumber
- Preferred: knowledge of cloud computing (AWS) and Docker
- Preferred: experience testing APIs, services, and mobile/web applications
- Preferred: previous mentoring or technical leadership experience
- Preferred: basic Spanish
