About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Translate operational requirements into SAP solutions
- Work closely with business and technical teams in a global environment
- Provide functional expertise in the SAP MM and WM modules
- Analyze issues from both the SAP perspective and the physical warehouse process perspective
- Work with functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP and integration teams
- Troubleshoot end-to-end logistics scenarios
- Support procurement, inventory management, goods receipt, goods issue, warehousing, picking, and replenishment processes
- Support SAP integrations with external retail systems and warehouse solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Fluency in English and Portuguese
- Experience in the Brazilian retail market is considered a significant advantage
- Strong functional knowledge of SAP MM
- Experience with procurement, inventory management, goods receipt, and goods issue processes
- Knowledge of the material master and procurement-related master data
- Experience with stock movements, physical inventory, and inventory materials management
- Understanding of MM or WM integration with external retail systems
- Strong knowledge of classic SAP WM
- Practical knowledge of warehouse types, storage sections, and storage bins
- Practical knowledge of transfer requirements and transfer orders
- Practical knowledge of putaway and picking strategies
- Practical knowledge of goods receipt and goods issue
- Practical knowledge of replenishment
- Practical knowledge of stock transfers and internal warehouse movements
- Practical knowledge of physical inventory
- Practical knowledge of handling units, where applicable
- Practical knowledge of batch-managed materials
- Ability to analyze issues from both the SAP perspective and the physical warehouse process perspective
- Good understanding of integration between MM, WM, SD, and Logistics Execution
- Ability to work with functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP and integration teams
- Experience analyzing interfaces, IDocs, RFCs, or other SAP integration mechanisms is desirable
- Ability to troubleshoot end-to-end logistics scenarios
- Previous experience with retail operations in Brazil
- Knowledge of distribution centers, fulfillment processes, and store replenishment
- Experience with high-volume warehouse operations
- Understanding of logistics and inventory management scenarios in Brazil
- Experience with logistics processes in SAP S/4HANA
- Experience integrating SAP with WMS/WCS, automation systems, conveyor systems, sorters, picking solutions, or warehouse control systems
- Experience with cutover, go-live, and post-implementation support
- Experience with data migration and master data management
- Experience designing test scenarios and executing SIT/UAT testing
- Knowledge of Brazilian localization and domestic logistics processes
