About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and ship best-in-class, end-to-end transportation management software for bulk commodity haulers
Solve interesting and challenging problems for users
Collaborate with experienced engineers, product management, and UX counterparts
Understand the trucking domain and users' businesses and workflows
Build and ship features on a daily/weekly basis
Participate in pair programming, team discussions, and cross-functional collaboration
Proactively identify and complete work aligned with team goals and business needs
Support colleagues across all areas of the business
Balance product quality and delivery velocity while making thoughtful trade-offs

Requirements

What you’ll need

Familiarity with both Ruby on Rails and React
Experience working in a remote-first environment
5+ years of experience building and shipping web-based software products
Ability and desire to build fast and ship features on a daily / weekly basis
Strong communication skills
Ability to take direction and feedback from senior team members
Strong desire to learn about the trucking industry, meet with customers, learn about their businesses and workflows
Empathy for users and teammates
Located in the United States
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
