About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Make TORTUS AI the most credible voice on clinical AI in UK healthcare social media
  • Develop the social media strategy, with LinkedIn as the priority channel
  • Build and run a monthly content calendar aligned with product launches, NHS deployments, events and published evidence
  • Write and schedule several weekly posts, including case studies, clinician stories, evaluation results, event coverage and short explainers
  • Ghostwrite and advise on posts for the founder
  • Brief and produce simple visuals and short video within brand guidelines, working with design when needed
  • Monitor and respond to comments and messages, escalating clinical, commercial or sensitive matters
  • Track sector conversations involving NHS England, ICBs, trusts and health-tech peers
  • Report monthly on reach, engagement, follower growth and inbound leads, with recommendations
  • Ensure claims are accurate and sourced and follow approval processes for clinical safety or customer names
  • Work with clinical and product teams to turn evidence into engaging content

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience managing social media for tech companies, with a portfolio showing accounts managed and results achieved
  • Excellent written English and judgement to explain technical or clinical topics clearly without over-claiming
  • Strong LinkedIn expertise, including company pages and executive thought-leadership content
  • Ability to work independently on a part-time basis and manage own time
  • Confidence with scheduling and analytics tools
  • Basic design tools such as Canva or Figma
  • Experience in healthcare, health tech, life sciences or another regulated sector (desirable)
  • Understanding of the NHS landscape and how clinicians and buyers use social media (desirable)
  • Short-form video editing skills (desirable)
  • Experience supporting founder-led brands at an early-stage or scale-up company (desirable)
  • Right to work in the UK without sponsorship
