About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop an understanding of all aspects of the Chassis Business
  • Participate in FP&A daily, weekly, and monthly reporting processes
  • Provide insight and analysis on business trends to departments supported within TRAC
  • Maintain financial models and calculations used to prepare income statements and other financial reports
  • Prepare and distribute variance analysis reporting comparing current week results with prior period and Budget/Forecast
  • Develop relationships with teams within TRAC to gather information for revenue and expense assumptions
  • Prepare, validate, and distribute a weekly key metrics dashboard to leadership
  • Manage and coordinate reporting for daily, weekly, and monthly chassis usage activity
  • Monitor, analyze, and identify discrepancies related to chassis usage, revenue, and expenses
  • Lead production and distribution of the full current-month income statement before monthly accounting close
  • Gather, reconcile, and consolidate data to calculate total company net income/adjusted EBITDA
  • Present final net income/adjusted EBITDA in detail with analysis for each assumption
  • Prepare and distribute business segment, customer profitability, and key metric reporting after accounting close
  • Perform research and analysis on ad-hoc requests
  • Assist with monthly close data loads into OneStream
  • Prepare and load revenue, expense, and key metrics into OneStream
  • Validate data after OneStream loads
  • Resolve and troubleshoot close/OneStream load issues
  • No direct reports

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Business, Finance, or Accounting
  • MBA or other financial certification preferred
  • A minimum of three years analytical or related business experience required
  • Proficiency in OneStream or other corporate performance management systems
  • Proven competence in data mining, analysis, and modeling capabilities
  • Expertise in Excel, including Pivot tables and V-lookups
  • Working knowledge of income statement, balance sheet and cash flow
  • Strong Excel modeling skills
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think creatively
  • Extremely detail-oriented, accurate, and inquisitive
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative, dynamic and matrix environment
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast paced, team-oriented work environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as contribute to the overall success of the team
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workloads
  • Flexibility to quickly adapt to change
  • Ability to competently handle competing, multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Regularly required to sit, walk and stand
  • Occasionally will lift items up to 10 lbs.
