About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist seasoned Service Technicians with installation and repair of environmental control systems
Apply knowledge of refrigeration theory, control systems, pipe fitting, and structural layouts
Service products, equipment, and systems at customer locations
Identify, examine, diagnose, and plan equipment repairs
Work with supervising field technicians, project managers, and customers to understand on-site installation requirements
Forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize on-site work
Use software, technology, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units
Enforce high safety standards
Maintain security and accountability of company-issued and procured assets
Ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements

What you’ll need

No industry experience required
Technical school certificates and/or formal HVAC training/experience are not required but may be considered when determining proficiency level and starting compensation
Must be at least 18 years of age when starting
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Valid driver’s license held for a minimum of 12 months
No major or frequent traffic violations in the last 3 years
Strong desire to learn a trade
Safety-sensitive role; additional drug screening may be required
