About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead all activities involving service repair, upgrades/enhancements, service agreements, and new equipment installation throughout the customer relationship
  • Work with sales to provide timely service agreement pricing and support contract pricing for parts and service
  • Coordinate field service activities
  • Recruit, train, coach, counsel, and develop service technicians and employees
  • Manage technician skill levels, schedules, and training
  • Oversee invoicing, collections, cash flow, and customer satisfaction
  • Own P&L responsibilities and provide monthly revenue forecasting
  • Drive service agreement, repair, installation, and turnkey growth with the acquisition team
  • Control budgets and expenses for fleet, uniforms, tools, and safety equipment
  • Mitigate risk across service agreements, turnkey service, and repair work
  • Oversee service coordination for emergency repairs, maintenance contracts, scheduled work, upgrades, installations, replacement components, and long-term service agreements
  • Ensure margin expectations are met during sales and fulfillment
  • Improve utilization, service processes, customer experience, and satisfaction
  • Ensure environmental, health, and safety compliance and provide safety training
  • Travel to customer job sites

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC or a related field, technical systems, equipment, or skilled trades
  • 3+ years of experience managing and coaching large teams and organizing work schedules
  • Project management skills to oversee and drive successful project execution for startups and customer requests
  • Tech-savvy with expertise in Microsoft applications
  • Salesforce experience considered an asset
  • Valid driver’s license held for a minimum of 12 months
  • No major or frequent traffic violations, including DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving, multiple smaller infractions, or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years
  • Ability to work in customer locations, including outdoor areas and mechanical/equipment rooms
  • Ability to work around variable weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, heights, and other environmental conditions
  • Safety Sensitive role may require additional drug screening
