About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and automate analytical tools and data workflows supporting engineering, design, sales, and manufacturing in the chiller business
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing subject matter experts to build data products
  • Translate design, engineering, product support, and manufacturing requirements into supporting tools
  • Improve engineering analytics through workflow efficiency, automation, documentation, and enhancements
  • Partner with IT teams to scale and deploy models, analytical tools, and AI
  • Develop and deploy analytic capabilities using machine learning or AI
  • Communicate analytics opportunities and value to leadership and stakeholders
  • Lead cross-functional projects to develop and maintain analytic workflows and visualizations
  • Coordinate work and changes with Engineering Technology Center and Advanced Concept and Capability partners
  • Monitor production data sets for consistency in data feeding production models
  • Serve as a consultant to other functions to develop organizational data knowledge, documentation, and capabilities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent degree
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in a data and analytics role, preferably data engineering or data analytics
  • Experience solving problems through automation
  • Experience with agile methodology and concepts
  • Experience with Dataiku, Tableau, Oracle Business Intelligence, Rapid Miner, Azure BI, Google Cloud Products (BigQuery), or other analytics tools
  • Experience with AI tools such as Azure AI Foundry or Vertex AI preferred
  • Knowledge of Product Definition and Configuration concepts preferred
  • Ability to travel; expected travel time approximately 5%
